※ 教学目标：

1. 学生通过语篇阅读、交谈等，整体感知故事，初步理解相关单词“surprise,   leaves, cookies, cheese”及词汇“tasty   seeds ,clean the nest, dead flies, fix cracks, dig the nest, guard the nest,   use jaws to fight”。

2. 学生通过语篇阅读和听力活动，进一步形成预测文本、捕捉信息、猜测生词、语意转化等能力。

3. 学生通过想象、角色扮演、品读，体会小蚂蚁的个性特征，感受小蚂蚁和蚁后的心情以及他们之间那份浓浓的爱。

4. 学生通过学习本故事，进一步升华对妈妈的爱。

  ★ 内容分析：

本文是一篇课外拓展阅读。故事的选材主要是结合了Unit8 E Insects are our good   friends。这是一篇国外的绘本故事。故事主要是用拟人的方式描写的，但同时也结合了蚂蚁的自然特点。图文并茂非常吸引人，同时纯正的英语表达也能为学生积累知识，拓宽知识面。但文本中有较多的生词，个别句子的意思也非常难理解。因此，本课是一篇泛读课文，主要是帮助学生梳理故事的核心内容，通过阅读，体会文章所要表达的思想感情。

★ 学生实际：

我班共有51位学生，大多数学生对英语学习比较感兴趣，敢说、乐说英语；有部分学生在英语学习上有畏难情绪，课堂思考、发言不够积极。进入五年级后，我们关注了每单元的A语篇教学，对学生的阅读能力的培养有一定的帮助。大部分学生具备了一些阅读的策略意识，能捕捉文本中较明显的语言信息。但阅读纯正的绘本故事是第一次，类似想象、品读等策略也是初步尝试，所以对于学生来说，这会是一个难点。此外，故事中的生词也比较多，个别句子还非常难理解,所以会给学生的阅读带来一定的困难。
