1. 学生能运用“视觉线索、已有知识经验、上下文意思”等方法,猜测“birds cage, must, different”等词汇,培养他们运用多种方法猜测词意、理解文本的能力。  

2. 学生能通过听、读、演、说、做的方式了解文章大意。  

3. 学生能结合生活实际,说说写写各场景中所见的各种公共标志。  

4. 学生能通过阅读和会话树立公德意识,争做一个文明的人。

Warming up 4’   

1. Daily English.  

* Teach the new words in the English corner.  

* Tell an English story.  

   

2. Sing the song ‘The signs in the park’.

常规活动可以帮助学生积累词汇,培养良好的英语学习习惯。  

   

   

   

通过唱英文歌,激发学生学习的兴趣,很快进入英语学习的氛围。

Ask a question:  

What public signs do you know? Can you show some to me, and tell me what do they mean?  

Answer the questions.  

通过开放的问题, 激活学生的已有知识储备,为课文的学习作有效地铺垫。

Step one: Teach Preface of Part A.  Ben and Jack went to a park and talked about the public signs there. Now let’s watch the cartoon and think about the question.  

1.Show three questions, encourage the students to listen to the tape.  

Who’s Jack?   

Where are they?  

What do they see?  

2.Encourage the students to read the preface.  

Step two: Teach dialogue of part A  

1. (Fast reading) Guide the students to read the dialogue fast.  

   

2. (Intensive reading) Guide the students to read, think and use the new words and structure.  

3.Let the students read the dialogue in groups.  

   

4. Show the pictures and the key words or phrases, encourage the students to retell the dialogue.  

   

Preface  

   

1.Listen carefully, try to answer the questions.

2.Read the preface.
