1. Learn the six words. (1)T: What food do you know? (2)Learn the six words: cake, egg, ice-cream, hamburger, hot dog, sandwich T: Look at the pictures. What can you see? What’s this/that? Then review the words with pictures. (3)T ask Ss to find the difference and tell me why: Let’s compare, what’s the difference? What’s the meaning? Why? What else words need “an”? Read after T: I’d like a/an. 2. Learn the sentences. (1)T: Oh, there’s a snack bar. Now I’m a shop- assistant. What would you like? (2)T: Who can ask me? I’d like a hamburger. Read after me I’d like. Ask Ss what you would like. (3)T: What would you like? Here you are. You should say: thank you. Read after me: Here you are. (4) T make up a model with S1, then read on the dialogue on the screen. Then ask them to work in pairs.
